When the predictive maintenance process identifies a problem, maintenance on the item should be scheduled at the earliest possible time to prevent the small problem from becoming a much larger issue.
Predictive maintenance techniques are designed to help determine the condition of in-service equipment to estimate when maintenance should be performed.
