The International Society of Automation (ISA) – the leading professional society for automation – has announced its 2023 Digital Transformation Conference- Asia Pacific), to take place in Perth, Australia on 26 – 28 November.
“Digital transformation is a key enabler for many initiatives in automation dependent organizations,” shares Steve Mustard, ISA Treasurer. “Being the leading global organization for automation standards, education, and knowledge sharing, ISA has been showcasing digital transformation in various sectors, including deepwater production and advanced manufacturing. This dual-track conference will focus on mining and supply chain issues in the Asia Pacific region. Specifically, the conference will hone in on improved security and efficiency in the energy and mining industries with an emphasis on predictive analytics, supply chain management, and new technology implementation. This first-of-its-kind ISA event brings together subject matter experts from key end users within Australia’s major industries to share presentations, end-user case studies, and best practices for adopting, accelerating, and monetizing digital transformation applications.
Join us on this deep dive into technology applications that streamline design, certification, and start-up processes—while improving safety, efficiency, and the bottom line. The metals and mining industry supplies minerals critical to powering a green economy. Sessions will explore ESG, and new safety strategies, along with exciting advances in AI, that will drive a sustainable future.
Several of ISA’s industry-leading training courses will also be offered for an additional fee during the conference, making this a great opportunity for attendees to also receive formal training while attending the event. Courses include IC32, Using the ISA/IEC 62443 Standards to Secure Your Control Systems, as well as DT101 and DT103, Introduction to IIoT and Introduction to Data Visualization.

Many of the event sessions will be presented in a hybrid format for both in-person and virtual attendees.
